Tiger Girls Roll Over Troup

You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Harris County's strategy against Turner County on Saturday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Tigers blew the Titans out of the water with a 60-29 final score. With the Tigers ahead 32-12 at the half, the matchup was all but over already. Harris County pushed their record up to 3-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.3 points over those games. As for Turner County, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Flag Football Piles Up Points Against Opponents

Harris County had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 49.7 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 34-6 victory over Troup County. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 27-6. Harris County got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Madalynn Cauley out in front who threw for 332 yards and four touchdowns while completing 85% of her passes, and also rushed for 32 yards. Those 332 passing yards gave Cauley a new career-high. Harris County's leading receiver Pearson Pettit was Cauley's top target yet again, picking up 112 receiving yards and a pair of scores.
